Stephanie & Brian had an elegant and intimate winter wedding on December 14, 2013. They got married in Bloomington, Indiana at Indiana University, Stephanie’s alma mater. Their ceremony was held in the cozy Beck Chapel and the reception was in the Federal Room.
You have to hear how they met, told by Stephanie:
“Though we are both Hoosiers, Brian and I met in London through our fathers who worked together in Indiana for years before they realized they had children living overseas. On a visit to London, Stephanie’s father mentioned he was going to try and meet up with the son of his colleague and asked if she wanted to join them for a pint. She went along and the never looked back!”
How awesome is that love story?! 🙂 They definitely had to do some long-distance wedding planning!
Brian proposed in Paris and they wanted their wedding to reflect that timeless and classic feel of the city. Their wedding was full of white florals and candles, which was perfect for the winter setting. They were both dressed to the nines – Stephanie in a gorgeous, vintage lace dress and Brian in a custom navy suit.
They wrote the most beautiful vows to each other that they spoke at the ceremony, which we featured in the sneak peek. After the ceremony, they braved the cold for some awesome portraits (our second time working alongside the talented Eric Rudd) and then warmed up at the reception with dinner, toasts, and cake. It was a meaningful day that we were honored to be a part of – thank you Stephanie & Brian. We wish you the very best!!
