Paige & Preston had a sweet, intimate wedding in Paige’s hometown of Winchester, Indiana on September 19th, 2015. Paige joked that her sisters-in-law previously defined a small town as about 500,000 or even 60,000 people, until they were introduced to Winchester, a town of only 5,000 people. Both their ceremony and reception were held in Winchester town square at the Courthouse and the Community Centre.
On the morning of the wedding, Paige had to call her guests and let them know the ceremony would be moved to an indoor location due to the rainy weather. They were originally hoping to have a backyard wedding, but they decided they better move it to the Courthouse, their back-up location. Paige handled all of this with a smile, as one of the calmest and easy-going brides we’ve ever seen!
Of course, the weather completely changed within the next few hours to beautiful sunny skies, but their day was perfect regardless. They were able to have their first look and many lovely portraits taken outside so everything worked out beautifully in the end. Their day was perfect because it was the day they finally exchanged vows and rings and became husband and wife.
Both Paige and Preston’s fathers had passed away recently. Paige’s father used to work as a lawyer in the Winchester’s town square. For their wedding day, they hung the sign with his name on the building that day in memory of him. Their officiant was mentored by Paige’s Dad for many years so being a close friend of the family, she made their ceremony very personal and unique.
Paige & Preston – we wish you two nothing but the best in your new life in Arizona as Mr & Mrs! Many congratulations! <3
