Jessica & Dustin got married on a beautiful September day at Dustin’s family’s farm near Ft. Wayne, IN. The farm has been in the family for over 100 years, which means it is considered a Hoosier Homestead. I’m sure there have been many memories made on that farm, one of them being when Dustin proposed to Jessica, and now there are many more!
They spent a year transforming the property to get it ready for their wedding. The gazebo was made just for their ceremony and the picket fence and flower garden where they had their first look was also a new addition. It was truly a DIY wedding, and all of their hard work paid off. Staying true with the style, we shot about 25 feet of film on a Super 8 camera. You’ll see a few of those shots in the sneak peek.
The property and details were gorgeous. Not only that, but the day was unique and personal and every little detail had a story behind it. Jessica’s Uncle performed the ceremony under the gazebo, and the reception followed under the tent and in the barns. Thank goodness they had cover, because a big storm rolled in just in time for toasts. Mother nature put on a great lightning show outside as everyone danced the night away. Rain or shine, nothing would stop the celebration!
Congrats Jessica & Dustin – we wish you the best! 🙂
