Janice & Frank got married on May 14th, 2016 on an unseasonably chilly spring day in Indianapolis. The cold didn’t matter one bit though – Janice & Frank couldn’t have been more excited to get married. Their joy overflowed and spread to everyone around them. It was a beautiful day!!
Their ceremony was at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Carmel and their reception was held at the Mavris in downtown Indy. They started out at the Mavris, where they both got ready and had their first look. Their first look was SO sweet; I had to include a lot more of it in the sneak peek than usual. They were just so happy to see each other and get married. From there, we went to Lockerbie square with the bride & groom and wedding party for some fun, relaxed photos along the tree lined, brick roads. It is a beautiful spot for photos and Jessica Strickland worked her magic!
Their ceremony was our first time filming a Greek Orthodox ceremony and we loved all the traditions from the candles to the crowns. Afterwards they took their time hugging and greeting all of their guests. We loved that each part of their day was slow and intentional and not rushed! They even had time to enjoy cocktail hour before the reception officially began. They had dinner, first dances, and toasts on the 2nd floor of the Mavris and then moved upstairs where Endless Summer Band played the rest of the night.
Congratulations Janice & Frank – we wish you two the very best! 🙂
