It was three days after Christmas but a mild, and welcomed, day with the temperatures in the mid 50s for Brianna & Tanner’s wedding. They had their entire day, outside of cocktail hour on a train, at the wonderful Mustard Seed Gardens in Noblesville. We had never been before, even when we lived close by, and it was a beautiful place. The barn was spectacular. 🙂
Brianna & Tanner kept with tradition and were not seeing each other before the ceremony, which was held inside the heated barn. They had a really cool room where the bride could hide out before the ceremony before her big reveal, just for weddings like this. Before this though, we were in the rustic house on the grounds getting ready. They had giant, soft windows letting in perfect light while the couple got ready separately. We’d then seal off one room to sneak one of them and their party outside for photos.
They had a great ceremony in the beautifully decorated barn, we loved getting to hear their love story during the ceremony. We like it when officiants give us their perspective on the couple’s history! Once they were married guests were shuttled to the train station and got aboard for cocktail hour. Mindy went with the guests and filmed one of the most interesting cocktail hours we’ve experienced. It was a mix of a normal cocktail hour with a hint of Polar Express. Such a great idea to entertain their guests while they flipped the barn and finished up photos together.
We worked alongside Melissa Glidden (assisted by Lisa Walker) all the while she was battling a cold, but she powered through and kept the day relaxed and under control. Within about an hour the crew at Mustard Seed Gardens had flipped the barn from the ceremony to the reception setup. Lights, tables and chairs, center pieces, catering, etc… all bussed in and ready for the celebration! The night got underway with dinner and toasts once everyone was off the train and back at the barn.
You’ll hear in the video that these two met swing dancing in a fountain. They then ,of course, showed off their dancing with their first dance. The dance floor was then opened for anyone to practice their dancing skills and celebrate with Brianna & Tanner. Thank you guys for a beautiful wedding and inviting us to film it for you. Here’s to a lifetime of happiness! 🙂
